Client:
Science and Industry Museum – Manchester
Problem:
The grade II listed 3000sq/m power hall roof was suffering water ingress, and as part of a de-carbonisation project for the museum, the roof also required changing to a warm roof system using sustainable and environmentally friendly products.
Why MODA?:
MODA have worked on a number of similar warm roof systems before and have delivered a number of similar schemes on historically listed buildings.
MODA Solution Completed:
The project saw the careful removal of the existing slates before installation of 3000sq/m of insulation and replacement of existing slates.
400 Linear Metres of an insulated gutter system were then installed.
